That is nice to know. How long is the flight and do you remember how much more premium economy seats were?I can confirm that flying the Dallas-Doha route on Qatar Airways in economy seats is a miserable miserable experience.
Hmmmm, I'd try to make the most of it by doing the deep dive Dubai and use the surface interval to sightsee. That is if I could plan a two day layover.Sept will still be roasting in the Gulf, but I’d still suggest staying night in Doha / Dubai / Abu Dhabi (whatever connection suits best) to make the trip easier and see some stuff

I feel your pain ... And that's considering Qatar (and rival Emirates) probably have some of the roomiest economy seats on offer!14 hours from DFW to Doha; 16 hours from Doha to DFW. It was a beast of a trip. I clocked it on my return trip. From my hotel on Dhangethi Island to my doorstep in OKC, it took 41 hours (including layovers and connections).
Bumping up in airplane classes was pretty expensive. My air cost me about $1200. My buddy flew business class from Detroit and I think he paid closer to $5K.
Well it seemed like a once in a lifetime unique opportunity. LOLSeriously??
You'd pay USD355 to do a 30m dive?
Ah thanks, I'd be trying to use a combination of points and miles, or at least flying back business. Sometimes it's a matter of trying different combinations of cities and flight class. But yeah $5k is too steep for me.14 hours from DFW to Doha; 16 hours from Doha to DFW. It was a beast of a trip. I clocked it on my return trip.
