I don't see how the things in the first list could improve your life. Most of them revolve around being inside. Even the booze, heck you get drunk and need to lay down right? If anything I think it would cause you not to have a life. Your inside all the time. Now the scuba package rocks. I think the best package would be something that you could share with friends. A pool party fully catered, so you can enjoy your friends. A trip with 10 of your closest friends. Then again I am a bit of an extravert so this is stuff I would enjoy.
I was thinking along the same lines. Every time i hear that ad for this competition on the radio i wonder who would want those kinds of things and would they really make anyone happy. When i think of some of the people i used to hang out with downtown - i think, yes i know some of those types - one of my roommates is like that - 31 and still acts like a high school/college kid, but i digress (again) ;) . Even so, people do like that kind of stuff and it could improve some peoples' lives - so when i hear that ad i then wondered what might be nice to improve my life and as at the moment diving is pretty high up there in my activities - and there is lots of "stuff" to buy anyway - you get the drift.

ROFL!!! Noting the post times, ya'll (Simon, poke poke) need a more fullfilling occupation!

I hear the same commercial everyday, and I also wonder what your life is like if what they are giving away would truly improve upon it.

Now for my wish list.
1. Cavern through full cave training, including all gear
2. One large heavy duty pickup truck, with gas
3. One large boat with trailer to be pulled by #2, with gas
4. One air compressor, size large, with O2 tanks so I could mix nitrox (& knowledge of how to do so)
5. Full assortment of spearguns, ticklesticks, game bags, etc.
6. $50,000 tax free so I could enjoy all of the above!

Darn, that might almost cover it! If I am given all of the above, I think I can scrape up enough to pay for my own beer.
