Unfortunately, there seem to be numerous diving fatalities that are heart related. The baby boomers, who have fueled the diving industry, are getting older and many are not in the shape they were 30 years ago. You should be fit and healthy to dive, but for recreational diving, it is not a requirement. Can you shed any light on his physical condition before the dive or his health. Any indicators?

I don't know much more than what I relayed for now. Mama mentioned something about some other underlying problems but no real details. I'm sure the next time I see the folks I'll get the whole story as they know it. Will keep ya'll posted.
