I just read Gen. Westmoreland died at the age of 91!
 
As a veteran of several wars himself, he was a strong champion for getting veterans the benefits they deserve. He will definately be missed.
 
My father served under his command during his time in the military. Never had anything bad to say about him in fact, he respected him amongst others he served with in Vietnam. He did champion alot of changes in the Army during his time so, I concur with 2Tours.
