Hello scuba people. I'm a 27-year-old professional tree hugger looking to get back to my scuba diving ways. Been diving for 10 years or so but haven't dove in several months. Looking to do local shore and boat dives in the Los Angeles / Orange County / San Diego area. I love me some kelp and do most of my local shore dives in Palos Verdes or in Laguna. Always up for a trip out to Catalina or the Channel Islands, work permitting. Looking forward to being part of Scubaboard and the California Kelp Divers.

Hey EIG, take look at the Beach Crabs forum above the SoCal forum... weekend dives, night dives, monthly boat dives, BBQs... and a great bunch of people...

Kevin is right if you want to get some dives in check out the Beach Crabs, We are a great group of divers:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I'm down in the SD area, so whenever you plan to come down this way lemme know...

Welcome to the 'board!!
There is more oppertunites to go diving than you will ever find the time to do so.... join in the fun!!!! Check out the monthly "wrinkle BBQ/beach dives" to meet some of us..next one is at Catalina Casino Point.... this planned dive is always the 2nd Saturday of the month..but don't wait 'till then to go diving with us. Hope to see you in the water soon.

yup, as said before, the crabs, wrinkles dives, you can't go wrong. There are tons of divers wanting to dive. Now, I must know, what does a pro tree hugger do for a living? what kind of trees are the best at cuddling? whatever it is, keep up the work.

Nice site, this totally blew my mind

"Cut water use by installing faucet aerators, low-flow showerheads, and low-flush toilets. As much as 19% of California’s electricity is used to pump, transport, and treat water." from here: The Energy Coalition Residential Tips

also, nice to hear you are working with palm desert. some of my family live there and are actually attempting to relocate due to the high cost of energy (cooling). their a/c bill as around $1400/month in the summer!

hope to see you at the beach real soon!
