I am moving back into the hobby after a long self-imposed hiatus of a decade or so. I have gotten pretty much everything I need but I'm curious what console or guage set I need to find. I'll eventually get Nitrox certified and will probably get a Vyper at that point but still think I need a console with at least pressure and depth and hopefully compass.

Any advice? Does it even matter? I can't imaging depth guage and pressure guaging technology has changed in that much in the last ten years but you never know. I have been reading as much as possible and trolling here but haven't seen much on it. Should I just buy one and go or are there features I should look for?
