Gear Problem Need Help!

Well i finally have all my gear together. Over the past few months I have slowly been purchasing all of my own gear. Thanks to everyone on Scubaboard for all the great information. Heres what I bought:

DSS single tank rig
Zeagle Flathead VI regulator (DIN) with ZX backup (long hose rig)
Oceanic Versa Pro
Worthington X7-100
UK light cannon 100 (couldn't afford a canister light
Mini Q40
and I already had fins, mask, wetsuit, etc...

But enough with that heres my problem when I mount the tank the corrugated hose for the inflator hits my first stage (bad enough to crease the top of the wing) when the wing is fully inflated and if I move the tank up; where the corrugated hose connects (the plastic elbow) hits the top of the tank. How can i eliminate this or is it not that big of a deal. I cannot figure out a way to make this go away. any help would be appreciated.

There are a few things you can try. It sounds like your tank might be a little low. Can you reach your valves? So if you move the tank a little up the elbow should fit between the crown and first stage. The other thing you can do is loosen the flange around the elbow and turn the elbow a little so it points towards your left shoulder. This will route the corrugated hose away from the first stage. A combination of the above would probably work best. When you unscrew the elbow have a look at the octagonal shape of the conection it is very self explanitory and totally simple.
