Yesterday my daughter lost a fin and a weight belt at Cathedral Rocks. The fin (Cressi Frog size S/M) came off in water at about 15' depth; Carl Thien and I tried to find it, but looking for a black-and-grey fin in 5' vis is pretty much waste of time. My one hope is that it washed up on the shore.

The weight belt she did not drop in the water -- she took it off after climbing onto shore, and apparently forgot about it. By the time we were packing stuff into car, tide came in... and I was not going to look for it in the surf. If someone happens to be at Cat Rocks at low tide (why would anyone want to? :) ), please check for it. The weight belt may still be there.

I did not find any gear... but what time were you out at Cathedral?

I dove Cathedral yesterday too and I only saw 1 diver who was solo. We were out there at say 1pm-4:30.

We were there from about 8:30 until 12:30
