I aquired a 2nd stage regulator. The purge cover is very small and has S-300 and Italy on it. It also has GDS on the regulator housing. The exhaust port looks like a fighter jet wing and it appears to be on the top not the bottom of the reg. I searched the internet and scubaboard and found nothing, can someone give me information on this regulator.

SS,

Did you hear the one about the dyslexic atheist? He said there was no dog. Anyway SS, try your search again with GSD and see what you come up with.

I used to work in a shop that sold these and it was the driest upside down breather I ever used. Unfortunately, because the exhaust valve is on the top rather than the bottom, they tend to breathe wet when upright.

Here is a link with a little bit of info you may like:

P.s. Someone else recently asked about these regs in this thread:

Thanks for the link and correct letter order couv, I found a picture of it. This reg is odd, the hose is angled from the reg and if you route the hose over your right side the exhaust tee is on top and the letters S-300 are rightside up. The cover could be upside down. If it is then the exhaust tee would be on the bottom with the hose going over your left shoulder. The picture on the link shows the exhaust tee on top.??????

That's correct, the exhaust valve and Tee are on the top....that's why it breathes wet in the upright position and dry when standing on your head.
