Hi there - newbie to this board. I first tried scuba as a ~14 year old when on holidays at a resort pool and really enjoyed it. Did my first discovery dive in Maui 10+ years ago, and got OW shortly after in Melbourne. Since then I've mainly just dived on holidays in Hawaii over the years (love the turtles in Waikiki). I wanted to get more into scuba this year, so did my AOW earlier this year and geared-up! My plan is to go about once a month. I've mainly done boat dives as I really enjoy wrecks and getting out on the water. Looking forward as we head into the warmer weather soon :)

Welcome from across the ditch! I was literally just looking up water temperatures in Melbourne for future trip planning. Where we are at the top of New Zealand, our water temperatures are a few degrees warmer than yours over winter, but a few degrees cooler than Sydney.

Feels about right! I clocked 12.7 degrees a couple weeks ago… hoping for warmer waters in a couple of weeks.
