Hey everyone,
I have two Aladin Air computers that have been sitting unused in the closet and need to be sold. They're in great condition, and were pretty top of the line when they came out, even monitoring air consumption rate. They're air integrated, but I chose the hose-mounted to avoid reliability issues with the wireless transmitters. The batteries need to be replaced though, which isn't the most simple procedure since they're fully oil filled. You need to unscrew the bottom, suck out a bit of oil with a plastic syringe, unsolder the battery wires, then solder the new battery, squirt the oil back in, and screw the bottom on. They also need new hoses as one of them developed a tiny leak and I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a matter of time before the other one does too. Instead of replacing with new quick disconnect hoses though, I'd just unscrew the QD coupler on the computer and screw on a standard HP hose.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in buying them, but if not I'll change the batteries and hoses myself before selling them. I wasn't sure how techy/diy most of the board members are.

Thanks!
