April is not the optimal time to go. I was there late April, 2012. I saw more shadows vs the life I envisioned I would see. Don't get me wrong, it was still good but not what I saw on the videos... I expected to see massive schools of hammers, whale sharks etc...

I will be returning late July this year in colder and rougher waters in hopes of seeing Galapagos in all it's glory...
