This past week of diving was a lot of fun. We were diving south, central, north and west of the Archipelago of Galapagos and we saw absolutely almost everything you can possibly see when you come to the Galapagos Islands for a week of diving.

We started with a check out dive in a calm bay between Santa Cruz and Baltra and from that point on every dive just got better and better. We found schools of hammerheads, barracudas, eagle rays, golden rays, Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, whale sharks, many Mola Molas, seahorses, manta ray, marine iguanas, penguins. We saw them all very close. Also king angels, salemas, lots of red-lipped batfish, marble rays, countless species of tropical and colorful fish, seahorses, scorpion fish, and maybe ten different varieties of morays and eels.

In the Santa Cruz Island highlands where we also did a land tour, there were a lot of Galapagos giant tortoises. The lava tunnels were also fun to go to and explore.

Special Events:
We celebrated both Derek’s and Chris’ birthdays and Wei made her 400th dive with us!

WE SAW ORCAS HUNTING AT DARWIN ISLAND! THIS WAS THE BEST SHOW IN THE WEEK :D

Thanks for joining us onboard the Galapagos Aggressor!
