g9 and strobe ?

hey guys, if i get the G9 and the Canon wp-dc21 housing, what do i need to get to run a ds-125 strobe, i don't think the canon houseing works with ttl connector?
need help next trip is in two weeks!

Nope does not look like e-ttl will work on their housing....I will most likley wait for the Ikelite case....I already have several wet lenses for my other P&S canon cameras.....at least these won't be wasted or sold for next to nothing....

I have heard the Canon housing does not allow for the eTTL. Ikelite's housing is not due out until sometime in Oct.

I am not sure on the Ikelite 125, but the Sea &Sea uses a fiber-optic cable that you can use on the Canon housing easily enough...

Inon has a similar set up as well for optical triggering. I would be wary of the Canon housing if you plan to use any wet lenses....

I am anxious to see how the G9 does underwater. From the specs., it should be great.
