Hey,

I'd just check the other posts with similar names in this forum, as several folks have commented already, it depends on what you want to do and where you want your system to grow too. I like the Ikelite, others are fans of the Fantasea or other housings, read on!

Shameless plug, but….. We do have have "Housing/Port Finder" feature. Just put in the Brand of Camera, Camera Model and you will get housings available for it. If it is a interchangeable lens camera then you can use the Port Finder feature, put in Housing of choice, Camera, Lens and it will give you the ports and gears. NOTE: it is not "Perfect" nor have all the housings available or recently announced but it can get you started.

Shop for underwater camera housings from Nauticam, Aquatica, Ikelite, Olympus and others

Another option is you can look at "System Packages" to get an idea of what you may need. You will see there are Compact Systems, 4/3 Systems, DSLR system, Lighting Systems, etc…. As above we don't have every camera in a system with every housing made.

One issue with the square port housings for the G series is it does limit the range of wet lenses you can use. Round 67mm ports give you more options. Hope that helps

I agree with Coralcruiser, Nauticam is the way to go. Optical Ocean sales has a Nauticam for $975 which is under your $1,000 price. Even at $1,050 it is still the best out there.
