Hey All..
Today i went diving to one of our best Islands here in Kuwait, the camera was set on the underwater settings.

I took a lot of shots which are not veru clear, and i am wondering is it because of something related to the settings of becoz simply our water is not crystal clear like Shram El-Sheikh for example.

This is a picture taking out of the water:

These 2 were taken under water, one is clear and the other is not:

I just want to make sure that its not a setting issue, its a water clearity issue!

It could be settings but I think it's more of a combination of factors such as water clarity, amount of ambient light, strobe placement (if using one or two), angle of the camera and your subject, depth, etc.

However, your "land" picture also looked very light. You might want to check your exposure values and scene settings to see if you can enrich the color saturation in your pictures.

One final thought -- did the camera and housing come from a cool, air conditioned place to a hot humid environment? That can cause the lens and the ports to fog.

As previously mentioned, my bet is either the inside of the case fogged up or you were in shallow water with a lot of light and the camera didn't handle the exposure well.

It is difficult to tell without knowing your camera settings, depth, and whether you have external strobes.

Hey All
Settings: underwater (i didnt change anything in it, the default)
what other settings do you want to know?

Depth: 10 meters

Yes there was sunlight.

Last, what do u mean by strobe?

A strobe is an external flash unit.

At 30 feet with ambient or natural light, my guess (without seeing the camera) is that the lens was fogged.
