G-9 Canon digital camera u/w

Hi! I am new to Scuba board, but experienced in diving and u/w photography. I just bought the Cannon G9 digital camera. I really like it for shooting photographs out of the water. I noticed it has an u/w case (for additional cost, of course) and I was wondering if any of y'all have used the camera u/w with the Cannon case or with Ikelite's case for the G9?
Does the Cannoin case provide for TTL flash sinc as the Ikelite case says it does?
