Any updates on the dive shop?

The island is pretty quiet right now, which is standard for this time of year. Habitat looks very slow at the moment. I don't think a great deal of new construction has taken place.
But if the rooms are clean and the service reasonable, then I agree, you are in a great location to dive all the island. But as you work your way West, doubt you will find a need to go elsewhere.
Water vis is still poor but in 6 weeks that could all be changed. Hope you have a great stay.

Word on the street is that Habitat plans to close completely for at least 6 months to allow for comprehensive renovations. Plans are for a revamped dive operation and hotel rooms. When the closing will take place, I have no idea. Also this is second hand "island" information.
