Welcome to the board.

I have dove with a fused ankle for over 4 years and it causes me no real problems, the exception being when I have to climb up a soft gravel bank or over a log etc getting out of the water.

Then the lack of bendability is a bit of an issue. I have learned a special "shuffle" step that works for me and I just have to be very careful that is all.

This especially true with stage bottles etc. I just leave them on the shore and make two trips, works out OK.


I hope im writing this reply in the correct area. Anyway, I just want to thank you for replying, its encouraging to know that diving is still an option. I wont be doing anything for quite some time but when i do ill remember what you said, cheers. Dan.
