There isn't even a bid yet on the Blue Angel vacation package yet and that is for an 8 day, 7 night dive package with 5 days of scuba diving for two people! Thats going to be a sweet deal for someone!
I am truly blown away at how many people stepped up to donate their time, their products, their services, they homes and vacation time just to make this happen. The Cozumel dive community is so big-hearted and that's not just the people in Cozumel but the people that keep coming back year after year which makes it such a big, world-wide family. It's amazing.
If you guys really want to get a sense of how much the Cozumel community has stepped up to help Joni, please take a moment to look at the video from the live auction fundraiser we had last week at the Money Bar. They set up a large video screen and we were all able to Skype Joni and so she and her daughter-in-law could be part of everything while she was in Merida undergoing chemo and radiation. She was incredibly touched. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. It was a really beautiful night.
