A very dear and beloved local ex-pat on the island is going through some serious medical issues with very expensive treatments, even here in Mexico. We are pulling together in efforts to raise money to assist her with her medical procedures and associated expenses while she is in Merida for her treatments!
The local business community has pulled together donating lodging packages, diving packages, fishing charters, and many other island activities. We will be having a live auction and fundraiser on August 22 at the Money Bar for anyone on the island interested in coming out! We are also having an online auction to reach those of you who cannot be here and to reach a larger audience in general! These are services and activities that you would purchase ANYWAY if coming to the island, so why not buy it now for your next trip to help a very loved and amazing member of our community!
Just a sample of what is up for grabs: Lodging and diving with Blue Angel, diving with Blue XT~Sea, Papa Hogs, Liquid Blue; more lodging form private condo owners, Sabor, Aura, Occidenal Grand and more; fishing with Albatross Charters, Surfing lessons with Nacho...Many great items up for bid! I am sure more will be added as well! Your help is very much appreciated! Please also feel free to share on facebook or anywhere else you wish!
