There was this scandalous rumour that even if they took the "nasty radioactive stuff" from all the nuclear power plants of all time, and spread it evenly over the world's oceans, the resulting level of pollution and environmental damage would be less than what we get now from releasing "clean coal" smoke in the atmosphere.
The "stuff" in question is nowhere near that much and is considerably less nasty.

Any more detail released about the radioactivity of the contaminated water. High energy or low energy?
 
At least they told the rest of the world of their intention in 2yrs time. I can't see that happening from one of its neighbour!!!!
