My buddy Matt and I just did a night dive in Ft. Wetherill. The temperatures were down to 48 degrees F. The visibility was probably 15 ft. There were a ton of lobsters. Unfortunately, several had clear signs of shell disease.

v_1matst:The dive was great, however I think it may be time to start adding layers to the T-100.
The T-200 might be an option if I didn't just spend $240 getting my 1'st stage fixed and my second(s) serviced.
aquageek:What do you think is contributing to the shell disease? Too much handling by divers? Pollution?

scubastew:ton of lobsters! yummmmmmmmmmmmmm! sounds like a nice lil dip!! glad to see folks still get out
Thanks for the info, I'll have to look into it. I'm going to layer 'Under Armor' underneath the T-100 for now and when the temp drops again (Jan/Feb) I might be happier with the Viking garments.Soggy:You might want to look into something a bit heavier for the winter. Bob3 here sells Viking B400 thinsulate garments for a good price. They are a lot more flexible than the Bare CT200.
