Half of the southern New England Scuba-boarders turned out at Ft Wetherill today. Nice to finally meet Ray finally and nice to see all the CT crew again! Thanks to Dave and Linda for the catering!

We all sort of went off went our own ways with our respective buddies. Ed and I went around the island between the coves for our first dive and for our second dive we did western point past the goat path. Vis was good, maybe 15 ft, with a little bit of a current on both dives. The water was about 46 degrees F. Plenty of fish are starting to show up. Coolest sighting was a sea raven (credit to Ed for spotting it, I swam right past it).

Here is a shot of the sea raven, which I guess I have to name "Ed".

how was the water? I'm gettin' pumped...graduation in T-minus 7 days and after that, back to quohog country.

I was diving dry so it was downright comfy. It would still be a little chilly in a wetsuit but plenty of people are doing it already. I had 46 degrees at 50 ft. In the shallower water I was getting 48 degrees F.

Awsome colors on that Sea Raven Chris;real nice pic by the way.. I like your camera hopefully more than the Beavertail Gods. Looks like your having a blast with it.

I wanted to share some pictures of our first dive. Did not take my setup for the second so Chris got all the credits and as always he takes better pictures than me. :-(

Your pictures look just fine... besides if you hadn't spotted the Sea Raven I never would have gotten a shot of it.

Thanks. Actually I am sure the Beavertail Gods would love my camera.... as a snack......
