Reefguy and I decided to brave the drive to Ft Lauderdale this weekend! Thats right, diving the other coast! Mostly for health reasons if you haven't seen the news paper information regarding Venice and the sewage spil issues, but also because there are some great people over there that we often chat with here and hardly see in person.

So without further adieu, whose game? We'll be leaving here about 6-6.30am, which will put us on scene there in the 8.30-8.45 rage with diving commencing as soon as we can get on gear and amble towards the water.

I had to promise my wife no water mines for wayward boaters this time.. she said last time created to much police activity around our house.....

How many tanks are you bringing? Any idea on water temp?

Since mines are out of the questions, how about spearguns :D Sea mosquitoes make great target practice.

I was thinking 2 tanks.... maybe 3 I'll have to get my blue one topped off.. 'course, I have 3 blue ones now. Thoughts?

I can bring 3. At worst, one won't get used. Better safe than sorry. Any idea on the water temps?
