FS YS25A Sea & Sea Strobes/Arms/cables/lens

I have two YS25A Sea and Sea strobes for sale they each have an arm, so I can sell them separately or you can combine them on one arm and use them as a double strobe. One of the strobes is older, and purchased 2 years ago. The second one was purchased in July 2006, just a few months ago. I also have both optical fiber cables and excellent condition. I used them with my Sea and Sea 5000DX. I am sellling them because I am enjoying taking pictures with just the camera now. I also have the wide angle lens, 0.6x, for it that seems to be a bit useless without the strobes, so I am thinking about selling that also. Strobe, arm and optic cable cost me about $450 so i am willing to let the 2 year old one go for $200 and then the newer one for 250.00. the wide angle lens was purchased for $350.00 so I will take $200 for that. I bought the lens last December for a trip. If you want the whole package then you can get a package deal for $ 575.00. I will ship UPS Ground to the 48 states for free and insure it. Anywhere else and I will have to charge shipping.

I have suffered a love/ hate relationship with this camera gear and have been reluctant to sell it because sometimes I take great pictures with it and sometimes I am terrible. I have finally resigned myself that's it's me and not the camera and gear. Operator malfunction I guess you could call it!

No, they take the 4 pin s- type only.

Hi, i'm interested in the strobes/arms and cables. I currently use a Canon digital camera (not DSLR). Will i be able to use your setup with my camera or will i need to purchase additional equipment? How much will it cost all up including shipping to Australia?

I do not know if they will work with your camera, you might want to research that before you purchase. I can ship to Australia and depending on what shipping you choose it can take from 3-5 days for Express to up to 6 weeks for cheaper services. I only recommend Express to Australia beacuse it will cover insurance and tracking.

Yes it would.

Since she has the fiber connections, i assume they are good for consumer digital.

It supports pre-flashes and other stuff... Which means I like them...


So, no, they would not work with YOUR camera
