are they more or less stiff than the avanti quattro (as in, the not +)?

I've never used the nonplus version. Perhaps someone else can chime in?

The Quattro+ is marketed as a "new hi flex material" but we have both in the house and I honestly can't tell a lot of difference between them except the + came with the bungee straps. It was an add-on with my regular quattros.

How long are they overall? I'm looking for an extra set of fins that are 24" for a trip to fit in my luggage.

They are 26" from heel to middle of tip. I fit them in luggage no problem. The tips are flexible enough to fit in checked luggage.
