My A75 bit the dust last week and I've been unable to fix it. I bought a new Canon (the A530), but the old housing doesn't work with it... so buy this one and help me get the housing for my new camera :)

Great shape, includes attached stainless steel bolt snap.

$90 shipped sound fair?

So what did you replace it with?
I like my a75 a lot - it is beginning to show signs of breaking down (the usb link no longer works) but I think I can get a replacement on ebay for about $50.

Peter

-that's the camera not the housing, folks - $90 is a good price for that!

Got myself an A530. Smaller, lighter way faster, much lower noise at ISO400, 4x zoom instead of 3x.

You said you got a replacement and it didn't work. Does that mean newer style a75's wont fit it, or you got a different camera? (I don't know anything about a75's, or any digital cameras for that matter, but it seems a good enough deal to inquire)

Edit: Posted as I was posting haha. Have pictures of the housing? How deep is it rated, and what controls do you lose with the housing installed?

No, I got a *different camera*. Any A75 should fit this housing. Sorry for the confusion.

I edited the original post to be a little more clear.

I edited mine as well, we posted at the same time heh...Figure it's worth mentioning the edit because they're surprisingly easy to overlook :)

Aww, but the print button's the most important one of them all at depth :(

Let me poke around a bit and see if I can spare the money. Either way I know I'll have an empty housing in the closet for at least a month or two haha.

PM reply sent... :)
