Welcome to Scubaboard.
I have dived Lembeh. It's a fabulous 4-or 5-day trip, especially for a macro photographer. I stayed at the Lembeh Resort, across the strait from Kunkungan Bay Resort. The dives are short boat rides away, devoid of current or surface chop--about as easy as it gets, really. There is good shore diving right out front. I'm pretty sure you'd have to travel via Jakarta or Singapore though. For less effort (but more money), I'd fly out to Labuan Bajo and sail back to Bali on one of the Komodo liveaboards.
