Fripp Island SC diving?

I have recently learned that I might be going to Fripp island, SC sometime next summer. Its located just north of Hilton Head, SC. Can anybody recommend some good places that take divers out? I'm thinking the closest place that runs dive charters is probably Hilton Head, but maybe not.

As far as my skill level, I guess I am a little above a beginner. Have had my certification a little over a year and have logged 14 dives. These include several in the Caribbean (Grenada) and ranged from 55ft to 110ft and no problems occurred during any. I am adventurous and willing to try almost anything, but at the same time I am cautious and don't want to get myself into a hairy situation or risk myself (and others) while down in the water. I feel like I am still learning and want to gain some more experience & knowledge in this newly founded hobby that I am enjoying a lot.

Did you ever find any diving in the Fripp area??? I will be there August 2-9 2011 and looking to get some dives....

Unfortunately, I was not able to find any Scuba Diving in this area. At another time, I was able to scuba dive in the Charleston, SC area. I was there visiting family on a later date & while it is about 2hrs away from Fripp Island, it might be the closest and your best bet to get in any Scuba diving while in the area. I used a place called Charleston Scuba. I had good success with them and would use them again.
