Are you positive that's a Nassau Grouper? I think it's another kind, though I don't have any ID books handy.

awesome picture!

the nassau has very distinct stripes, and the giveaway is the
one that runs over the eye... can't miss it!

by the way, the other day I i.d'd a French Angel until
Scubba Jenny pointed out it was in fact a Gray Angel... so...
hehehe... it happens
