I'm going out with Matt Fahey of Coastal Diving Center, out of Hingham, on Friday. Anyone interested? Matt seems to have really been busting his arse to get the new boat in the water and I want to give him a shot. No destination picked yet.

Time for a day off. Lets go dive. Buehler? Buehler? Buehler...?

I can't dive this Friday, but tell me how it goes. I'm interested in trying about some charter boats on the SS as opposed to Boston Harbor and Cape Ann charter services. Hope you have a good trip and give us a report.

i have fridays off and this sounds interesting

how much would this charter be (price isn't that big of a deal just curious)???
what time does it leave?
what sites would they go to on the south shore?

I've never heard of Coastal Diving Center, but Hingham's really convenient for me and I've been itching to dive since not getting wet over the long weekend.

How much is the charter? What can you tell us about Coastal Diving Center, Matt Fahey, and his new boat?

As far as sites go, I'd think he'd be able to hit the Kiowa wreck, outer Perry Cove, the western side of Calf Island, Brewster Canyons, City of Salisbury wreck, Roaring Bulls wall, Tewksbury Rock, Strawberry Ledge, Minot Ledge, West Willies, Tar Pouch, the Delaware wreck, Romance wreck, and I'm sure lots of others. There's no lack of sites down that way, just a scarcity of shore dives and charter boats.

Have you seen the wether report for Friday? It doesn't look too promising for small craft. I even have a scheduled charter for Saturday. That too may not go out.

Wondering about Coastal Diving Center also...is this a new shop? Would love to go Friday but as per usual....that damn thing called WORK gets in my way - yuck! Let us know how it goes and would always be up to support new dive folks....

ll. Sorry for the delay in answering, I had to drive out to Elmira NY yesterday to retrieve Spawn #1. 800 mile round trip drive after working a 12 hour overnight shift. My new definition for tired is when you wake up with a start to discover that you have fallen asleep on the throne at a rest area on the Mass Pike. The good news is that she is going into her senior year and I only have to make the drive a few more times. Except she told me yesterday she's applying to grad school out there.

So here's Matt's web site. (Disclaimer.. I don't know this guy from Adam, and I'm not humping his boat cause he's my brother-in-law. I found his site and talked to him a few times and decided to give him a shot. The price is certainly right at $55 without tanks.)

I have one other guy coming for sure and maybe a second so there is room for anyone who's thinking of getting "El Grippe" for the day. Best part of callin in sick on a crumby day is no one will suspect you are banging in to go dive. But hell, youre gonna get wet anyways, what's the diff?

I can be reached at five oh eight eight two six one one eight six if anyone wants to coordinate. We're planning on an afternoon dive.

Hi Jim, have you check BHDC new boat? that ride is pretty sweet.

The boat's out of Hewitt's Cove marina in Weymouth, by the look of the background on the website.
