I got an email from my diving instructor about 5 minutes ago. He is now on Filitheyo in the Maldives until the end of April and is urging me to fly down and empty my wallet :D.

1) Maldives
2) Red Sea (will go in May for sure)
3) Cenotes

Hi Gozomutti,
My observation on Red Sea has got to be a Liveaboard in Southern Red Sea/Sudan. Sharm and Hourghada are closest to us for warm immersions, but, myriad vessels with divers is not our kind of diving.

Ok I'll play.
First I want to race DeepSeaDan for that Titanic dive, and find the necklace that lady dropped.{great idea} The Heart of the Ocean ..I think ...
Then I'd fly over to the Andrea Doria and dive her under what they will say are the 'best conditions and best visabilty' anyone has seen her in.
If there was still time left for another dive,
Take me down under to the Great Barrier.
Do I have to wake up from this dream?
:sunny:

Hey JC

A liveaboard off the Sudan would be ideal, but as I am presently still learning, I think the nice tame reefs around Hurghada will be fine. Also, May is pretty empty - is not high season, so it shouldn't be too crowded. I was there over New Year's, it was so crowded it wasn't funny, but I had a good time in spite of that.

As soon as I have more experience, I will head south...I hear the Sudan is awesome......

Well since I'm so new to this I don't have much to contribute since I don't know much about anything! The only place I've been is Cozumel!

Pacific - no idea what's even out there! A live-aboard sounds fun!

Carribean - heard so much about Bonaire, I'd like to do there.

Other - this one's easy. A cenote!!!

Hey, I've never been diving anywhere except the "warm" waters of New England (except one recent dive at Walt Disney World).......I can only imagine what some of these places are like....

no desire to go Carib so I'll pick one Pacific and
2 'others':

1) Truk (pacific)
2) Flaming Gorge Utah
3) Scapa Flow
