Don't tempt me...but I thought we may get stuck in the bottom...or worse..
we were just looking for a alternate for when the swells are as high as they were this weekend...they were actually surfing at Del Monte Beach!!

I was really hoping someone had a freshwater lake they could recommend that had over 20' of vis...am I dreaming????

Sorry; but, not even the Monterey Bay Aquarium has freshwater. (Errr... MBA does not have a freshwater tank large enough for diving that is....)

You're right, it's sheltered; on those rough days, it really helps us! ;-)

My buddy went to the MBA that weekend and the breakers were going over the wall into the tide pool...I guess the only place to find calm water was indoors..
