I'm a Fish!
Does anyone have any information on a freshwater dive site in the Monterey county area?

Don't tempt me...but I thought we may get stuck in the bottom...or worse..:rofl3:

we were just looking for a alternate for when the swells are as high as they were this weekend...they were actually surfing at Del Monte Beach!!

I was really hoping someone had a freshwater lake they could recommend that had over 20' of vis...am I dreaming????

But it is sheltered, which was the real requirement.

.SAT...SE WINDS 5 TO 15 KT. WIND WAVES 1 TO 3 FT.
NW SWELL 6 TO 8 FT.
.SUN...NE WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. WIND WAVES 1 TO 2 FT.
NW SWELL 5 TO 7 FT.

Good news is that this weekend looks diveable, though not fantastic (don't call in any
chits)

My buddy went to the MBA that weekend and the breakers were going over the wall into the tide pool...I guess the only place to find calm water was indoors..
