Fresh water gun

I,m trying to find a good gun to spear fish in the great tropical lakes of Nebraska. I will have about 5-20 foot vis. and will mostly be hunting small game fish the biggest would be about 12-15 lb. It is not a big sport here and any help would be greatly apreciated.

I hunt a lot of lakes with simmilar viz. a pole spear fo a 55-75cm Euro gun seems to work best for me. thinner faster shafts do much less damage to the delicate meat of most freshwater fish.
