Reminds me of the Dilbert Cartoon where the "Pointy Haired Boss" walks in and tells Dilbert that he thinks his laptop has locked up.

Dilbert takes it and holds it in the air and shakes it several times and hands it back to him. The Poiny Haired Boss, says 'OK, thanks' and walks away with the laptop.

Wally then asks, "Whens he gonna figure out we gave him an Etch-a-sketch for a laptop?"

Now I see why you're getting so many support calls. You should never short-cut system troubleshooting. The proper instructions should read:

Pick it up, invert, and shake it.

You forgot:
what do i do when i get frustrated with my etch-a-sketch and feel like throwing it out the window?
pick it up and shake it!

How do you make a etch-a-sketch martini? Just pick it up and shake it.

You guys ever seen the "etch-a-sketch" artists? they make these fabulous drawings on etech-a-sketchs and sell them. Apparantly there is some way you can do something inside the cover to keep it from being destroyed if shaken.

I mean they are really good drawings.

Yes, I've seen those. It's amazing what these guys can do with such a simple tool.
