Sunday saw the launch of the new Nautilus Free Scuba Sundays campaign where Nautilus Dive Tech are giving people the chance to experience scuba diving free of charge. Free Scuba Sundays is the first event in an ongoing plan by Nautilus Dive Tech to give back to the local community and help to encourage people to try scuba and start their dive education in the best way possible
The first day was a great success with people arriving as soon as the doors opened at 9am all the way through until 4pm.. The program entails a short educational video followed by directions from a qualified instructor and a hands on experience in the facilities custom built pool. Casey Omholt the facilities owner said We are a primarily a Scuba education facility and we are trying to encourage more people to see and feel what it is like to breathe underwater in the safest atmosphere possible.
With underwater games, music, food and beverages it certainly was a festive atmosphere and we look forward to seeing more events like this in the future!!
Free Scuba Sundays is an ongoing initiative and readers are welcome to go down to the facility on 20 de Noviembre Y Melchor Ocampo on Sundays between 9am and 4pm to give it a try!!!
