Four weeks until we're free-diving the scooters at Catalina... again! :daydreaming:
Water clarity at the Dive Park has been too murky this Spring for WA.
And the conditions have favored scuba over free diving on each of our '08 trips there. At least the cold water has resulted in thick beautiful Giant Kelp growth.
The park was looking prettier than ever last weekend when I surveyed it with ReefCheck.

I have to wait a whole MONTH before free-scootering clear water again? What a rip-off!!!
It's STILL not July? :no arrrggghhh....

P.S. Thanks to the free-divers who posted on this thread about removing the snorkel once underwater. I'm laughing because it's so logical and I never would have thought of it.
