I would like to Scuba dive but a lung problem will stop me from doing that. This leaves me with free diving. Those of you that do free diving often could you tell me how deep do you go? how long can you stay under? I guess I just want to here your stories so I won't like a loser because I can't Scuba. (see my thread "Spontaneous Puemothorax" in the medical section)

If you can't scuba dive, you likely can't free dive either. See a diving doctor (not just a regular doctor).

As for how long and how deep, at my prime I could hold my breath 2 1/2 minutes, kick down to 95 feet. There are many folks that can do much better.
