Hi fellow divers and developers,

I’m happy to share that we've just rolled out a free and open API that lets dive centers and anyone in the scuba community embed a global dive sites map directly on their own websites.

🔗 Check it out here: Free Dive Site Map

We've spent 10+ years gathering dive site data from across the globe — and now we’re making it available for everyone. While the service remains free, you’ll need to create a (free) account — then you can simply plug it into your site and go.

We believe this is the first publicly available API focused specifically on dive locations and made with dive centers in mind. It’s lightweight, easy to install, and fully responsive for mobile.

Right now, it’s in testing phase, so we’d truly appreciate any feedback, bug reports, or suggestions. Your input will help us improve it for everyone in the diving world.

Looking forward to hearing what you think — and hoping this tool becomes useful to many of you.

Thanks for reading,
– Denis
