Now that I have your attention (sorry for the cheap tactic) :-)
I noticed the weather network is calling for +4 on Sunday and I'm hoping to take another stab at Brewers Mills out near Kingston. Any takers? Or better yet, if anyone knows of any open water on the St.Lawrence (Connie or Rothesay etc) I'd be up for that.

Cheers

I am not sure, but I heard it was pushed forward to next weekend. Best call the shop though for details....If it is pushed forward I will be there!

I can't on Saturday as I'm booked for the big-o and I'm sure my buddy would kill me for bailing :-) However if you're looking to go again on Sunday, you know I'm in. Must dive! Must dive! Must dive! Must dive! Must dive! Must dive! Must dive! Must dive! Must dive!

Connie should be open too, hopefully the people in BrockVegas can keep us posted on river conditions.

I would be up for the rothesay next weekend if its open water
Sounds good to me. Looking at the weather for the week I wouldn't be suprised if they are open. Dosen't look like a Sunday is happening, so next week it is :-)

I guess the ice course will have to wait for next year.
*happy dance for open water*

+7 degrees C today, rain tonight, rain tomorrow.

Bye bye snow, bye bye ice!!!
Huh, not exactly crying for the snow...... ;)

Yeah, my ice dive course for next weekend looks to be in jeopardy too.... Went for a run this morning along the water in Kingston this morning and the ice under the causeway has melted right through to the water in places. So I would call it variable thickness at best.

There is still 16 inches of ice in the harbour at POH, and we got 12 inches off the beach. According to a pilot that flew in for the weekend the ice is still solid out past Wolfe Island. It will be a few weeks before :bounce: we start seeing the ice break up. Perhaps you don't have to give up on ice diving yet.
