Inside Out Carnival Concert

It's FREE!!!
Inside Out Steel Drum Band Director C.J. Menge presents the Bowie HS, McCallum HS, Covington MS and Inside Out Community Steelbands. One hundred students, ages 12-65 years of age, will play a diverse program featuring the Carnival sounds of Trinidad and Brazil. This 50 piece mass steelband show will also feature the Austin-based Brazilian Samba School, Academicos da Opera.
 
Wow I bet this was an amazing event, so sorry I missed it!! I've never seen a large steel drum band, but the beautiful sounds that 3-7 drummers can make is a sound to remember. Hope it was as great as I imagine it to be, Carlislere.
