I realized I never responded here with my findings. I found that only the Showa 737 11/XXL would fit over the large Halo AR gloves. I'm not sure how other people are squeezing them into smaller ones. They are so thick. I have yet to actually dive with them because the loss of dexterity.

I'm still looking for something in between the Fourth Element G1 liners + Xerotherm wrist warmers and the Halo AR gloves. Or I might just have to practice more to try to get used to it.

the AR gloves get better once you descend a few feet and they squeeze down a little bit I agree it is pretty tough to manipulate things with them while on the surface

That makes sense, thank you. I didn’t consider the compression factor. I will try them on my next dive.

I wear a large Halo glove with Showa 620 XXLs. Way too tight until you dunk the combo in near boiling water and make a fist. I've been diving my molded 620s all winter. Warm, dry and bolt snap friendly.

Interesting. I wouldn't have thought to mold them like that. Do you find they get stiff when you dive? I've read that PVC gloves stiffen up in cold water, which is why I have not tried some of the recommendations I've seen on here like the 495 or the 620.

If they do, I really don't notice it. Had them in Superior last week which was 36°F.

most of the showa gloves are not meant to be worn with liner gloves underneath but the 620 are. you might find they fit the best

I dont think the 620/720s are made to use an underglove. They just fit for what we use them for.

the 495s are molded way different than the others. Larger fingers/etc

I use 720s most of the time, I use the 495s when doubling up glove liners.
