During the Lover's Point cleanup, I found a weight pouch for an integrated weight system with 14 pounds of hard lead (covered in rubber). Looked like a rental. It had a number on it and a red handle. Bruce at Aquarius Dive shop is checking with the other shops to see if it is one of theirs. If you lost one of these recently, contact Aquarius Dive shop. Otherwise, they have more weights for their rental pile.

14lb in a pouch? Thats alot of pounds there...:confused2

I use is 14lb total in my dives. And once I put some muscles in my body, I'll slim down to 12lbs or get a back plate for my BC. If I could find one....:shakehead:

I'm sure it was quite a heavy guy. I only use 18 myself now. Was using 20, but the tanks I bought added a little weight, so I could trim a few pounds off. I've been diving a little heavy since I bought them. Only peeled them off this last dive at Lover's because my buddy was going having trouble getting down. I still dropped like a rock, a very light rock though. :)

I'm striving for using 12lbs total. Thats the beauty of muscle training :) but it can be a curse though because a divemaster on the Monterey Express couldn't float because he was really buff.

But 14lbs in a weight pocket. Man thats like a person is carrying 28lbs. :shakehead: Could be wrong but thats like more then 1/4 of a hundred pounds.
