Lol.

Were going to need a bigger search thread...

Side bar: How do you lose your camera?

Would you be able to post dates associated with the pictures?

Also, what date ranges are on the card. With the size of memory cards older pictures are often left on sd card even after they have been copied elsewhere. A google image search of any older images on the card may turn up a facebook post.

That's been one issue. The card dates don't line up to known sailing dates for this ship, and the camera has been demonstrated to reset the date when the battery goes dead. So, while the pictures are dated for Jan 2015, this doesn't reflect what we've learned in terms of the schedule and the Red Sail employee in one picture.

We're operating on the assumption that they were on an October cruise, as these were the last dates that employee worked with the cruise ship.

Fantastic idea. I'll start working on that.

If the buyer registered the warranty with Vivitar, they may be able to forward the information to that buyer. It makes them heros, and that's always good for business.

And with three generations, it is possible the owner is a "frequent flier" with Disney, and they may have newsletters that they send out to those folks, where they could also post a "Did you lose your camera? Do you know these people?" note. Again, Disney rarely misses a good PR opportunity.

Well, tcpip95 has spoken with vivatar, and they unfortunately don't have the information.

I've asked Disney to help, and their Lost and Found department has asked us to give them the camera. Yeah, Right.

tcpip95, however, may have connections to go over their head, and may be pursuing a similar course that you suggest.
