Wow I guess I'm not the only one. I was going to start a new post. How Many people hate vintage diving? And keep it at the top topic for the next five years. But i am known as a trouble maker ect. It cracks me up when none U.S. divers hog forums or anyone for that matter.Thanks Bill.

Maybe it is time we have a Vintage Forum RESET button. It did not work for President Obama and the Russian state and Hillary but maybe since none of the current vintage suspects are nuclear armed we could stop insulting each other and our countries of origin and just get along. I am interested in vintage diving in other parts of the world and the strange and rare equipments they have. But I am not going to participate in any thread that insults my country or countrymen or for that matter other countries and peoples. If we can stop doing that I might take several people off of ignore.

Oh, and while I am appreciative of California and it's great history of diving development, I am more Gulf Coast centric so y'all will forgive me if I do not find California to be the center of the universe.

I need to dive the Gulf Coast. I was in Clearwater, FL once but it was a business trip. The seawater was actually "hot" - interesting

You could always start a your own forum here on the ScubaBoard.com like:

" European Vintage Equipment Diving " or " Turkey Vintage Equipment Diving " or " Russian Vintage Equipment Diving ".

All you have to do is read the instructions on how to start a forum here on ScubaBoard.com.

You can have all of your fellow country men post to it. Now wouldn't that be nice.

whats wrong ? What is happening in other countries, why disturb you ..you real uncomfortable a stranger who write here.. because you see here as an American club as VDH.. Here is international .. The site moderator said ,I can write here and I read yours .Why is this xenophobia ? There are also those who are not in the VDH International.
An adverse opinion globalized world .This is a hobby, not a trade war. Nobody's interests. You Americans live in a world introverted.considerably higher than the per capita income in the world but the number of less than going to dive Europe abroad.
European workers if a diver goes to Red Sea , Maldive, Endonesia Bali,east African coastal countries ,Andaman Sea ,Mediterrannien islands ,Greece ,Turkey and many countries. They are earning lower than you.. It's a travel culture.How many Americans go there ? I went a lot of time Red Sea but never met an American.
Russians do not like that most cultured country in the world.They are very educated. mathematics in the primary and in the world.
When Yuri Gagarin in space you are not there.. I am not a fun of Russia,France or the other ccountries.
I just followed what is being done in that country in diving.
USA is friends with my country our enemies same..I'm just writing what is happening at that entered under this category. it's so bad ?
I think you have to look both more global and this hobby in the world.
16 th August will do its vintage diving in Turkey. This time not boat, We will shore branch, 35 m deepest .but anyone who does not have to dive to that depth.
10m is enough. Marmara Sea 84 km from Istanbul ,Hereke town. Our sea is not warm 11 C. Water not very clear , you will see the photos.
I invite Americans. No fee ,you are guest.After diving eat our Turkish meat (barbecue ) .. You bring only your doublehose ,mask,fins..
Diving world is a world of friendship.. I write French vintage diving site but nobody told me why are you writing here..
If you donn't reach cultural level of Dr. Sam Miller and John C Rattlif , it's not my fault. I am an engineer and my son too, I have 8000 books, I present my riches. I do not earn much money as you, but I do not jelaous anyone, I try not to hurt anyone.
If you do not like donn't read.. or ignore.. but you can not fire anyone here.. Only owner or moderator does it.

I wasn't firing anyone I don't have the authority to so , I just made a suggestion. If you don't like it then disregard it.

I have known Dr. Sam Miller since the early 1960's while diving with him and would never think I was in his cultural level.
