For Sale – Bauer Compressor in Cincinnati, OH

1988 Bauer Unicus 17CFM 4500 PSI compressor with approximately 1100 Hrs. It comes with 4 integrated 400 CF ASME storage bottles that never need hydro testing. Compressor block is a K-15 driven by a 230V 15HP 3-phase motor. It has a P-5 Securus filtration system with Auto Condensate drains. The integrated fill containment system was removed and is unavailable. I bought this unit from the Topeka, KS fire department in approx. Sept 2011 and took it out of service in June 2014 when I replaced it with a much newer K-14 unit. It passed each and every gas analysis done by Trace Analytics. I have had no issues with this unit whatsoever. Buyer should be aware that this is a complete unit with AMSE bottles and as such weighs approximately 3000 lbs. Dimensions are approximately 3x6x8 feet. Forklift is available on-site for loading. Asking $6,000

Hi Gregg,

Were the towers for the filters and separators ever replaced? Those aluminium cylinders only have a life of 15 years and get worn out and are very prone to failure.
