Yep; my TDI AN/DP class included two deco gas switches (to 50% at 70’ and then to 100% at 20’).

You are correct. In DP the student must stay within their current certification level for decompression gasses. It is not until TDI extended range / trimix that the diver must have AN or equivalent as a prerequisite.
