I am over here waving, do you see me?
# of dives
I have an Oly 8080 with PT - 023 housing.

Does anyone have any tips on focusing. It seems that many of my photos are pretty close to being in focus but once I zoom in I find they are slightly out of focus turning a really great shot into only an average shot. In other words, when the image is small they look great but once I print them out on 8.5 x 11 they are slightly out of focus.

While taking a picture, I find the view finder too small to really notice especially underwater.

any advice

thanks

Can you give us more info to work with ? What type of shots were they - macro , close up or wide angle . Also what settings were used (shutter , aperture ) on the OOF shots . Which mode was the camera in ?

These are all types of shots, some macro, some close up and some far away. For now everything was set to auto.

can you post some sample shots?? we can have a quick look at it....btw what aperture do you set?

And could you also have a look at the EXIF data on the OOF shots ? Seeing as the camera was set to auto it may have chosen a shutter speed that was too slow to either freeze the action or too slow for you to hold steady enough to avoid blurring .
