Focusing light mounting question

Can anyone advise me as to how to mount a UK mini Q40 light to my Sea&Sea YS27? I have the little rubber strap for the UK light, but I don't know how to attach it. Zip Ties? or something?

There has to be a more elegant way...

I mounted this same light to my Ikelite AF35 strobe arm with the mask strap, though I never dove with it. I simply wrapped the horizontal part of the strap (the part that's lenghtwise on the light) around the strobe arm. The two side straps wrapped around the light in the usual way. It seemed to be a solid attachment.
